The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks (MDWFP) WMA Check-In application provides a more efficient and easy process for checking in and out of Wildlife Management Areas (WMA). Users are advised to download the app and create an account prior to visiting a WMA due to weak cellular signals at various WMAs.

The Shatter the Silence app, by the Mississippi Department of Mental Health, is an excellent resource to learn more about suicide prevention. The application includes information about risk factors, warning signs, helpful and unhelpful things to say, and a variety of resources. Shatter the Silence also features quick access to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline which has trained counselors available 24/7 to help those in need.
