The Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors (MSBOC) is the contractor licensing authority for the state and is comprised of ten members appointed to staggered terms by the Governor. MSBOC protects consumers by licensing and regulating Mississippi’s construction industry through policies and procedures that promote the health, safety and general welfare of the public in matters relating to construction.
